Pride Around America
Pride Month is both a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and remembrance of the long fight for equal rights. Today, that fight continues around the nation.

June Election Updates
June was a packed month for midterm primaries, with elections in: California, Iowa, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Dakota, Maine, Nevada, North Dakota, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia, Maryland, New York, Utah, and Washington, D.C.
Colorado voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, June 30th.
The main takeaway? Voter turnout has dramatically increased this year, particularly amongst Democrats. Per the Washington Post, “in more than 90 percent of Democratic House primaries held this year, voters cast more ballots than during 2022.”
Across the country, Democratic primaries are seeing increased turnout in comparison with Republican primaries, even in races that are not highly contested or lean Republican. This has been true even following redistricting efforts to redraw maps to favor Republicans – even gerrymandering can’t secure victory if voter turnout begins to flip for the opposition party.
