The Next American Revolution

A word from the executive director of Feel Good Action – Andy Forrest
250 years ago, just days before America started counting birthdays, Paul Revere climbed onto a horse and delivered breaking news in real time. He was short on details, long on urgency. No open rates, no engagement metrics, no algorithm. Just hoofbeats in the dark. America was born into a world where information traveled at the speed of a tired horse. That was then.
We are now living through the single greatest transformation in human communication since Gutenberg smushed ink to paper, and most Americans are too busy falling down digital rabbit holes to stop and think about what’s actually happening. AI-enabled digital media finds people where they are, speaks to them in the language they respond to, and delivers a tailored message to millions of different individuals, simultaneously, instantly, at a cost Paul Revere would have considered witchcraft.
And here is the most profound shift of all: the audience talks back. Every three seconds someone watches your video, they whisper to an algorithm: show me more of this. Every like, every share, every click is a signal, tracked, measured, fed back to the sender in real time. Paul Revere never knew if anyone heard him. Feel Good Action (FGA) does.
We know who hears the message, how long they listen, what motivates them, and if they click our link, who they are, where they live, what they care about, and whether they show up to vote.
The last two major elections were won and lost in the arena of AI-enabled digital media. Every election that follows will be too. The question is whether these powerful AI messaging tools serve democracy or simply the corporate bottom line. That is why FGA exists. We use these tools to inspire people to care, to engage, and to vote for leaders who believe in a healthy society and a healthy planet. Inspired voters are the lifeblood of democracy. That is where democracy has always lived. Share this. Support us. The horse isn’t coming back.

One Million Voter Actions!
In an era of increasing efforts to suppress turnout and disenfranchise voters, Feel Good Action uses digital media to educate Americans and share tools that make voting more accessible!
Nationwide, FGA’s voter tools have been used to take one million voter actions!
So what exactly are these voter actions, and how can you help us reach our next million?
Voter Actions
At FGA, we provide tools to make voting as accessible as possible. We’ve built easy, straightforward forms that Americans can complete from anywhere in the country (even with various state voting laws). The best part? These tools can be used right from the device you’re reading on!
Registering to Vote: Pretty straightforward, right? Users can use this tool to register to vote!
Verify Registration: Can’t remember if you registered – or if you updated your registration after the last time you moved? Boom – we have a tool for that too!
Request an Absentee Ballot: voting by mail has increasingly come under attack in recent years, which is why FGA has included a tool to make requesting your absentee ballot easy peasy (it just takes a few clicks!)
Preregistration: Our newest tool, and one we are stoked about! Did you know many states allow Americans under 18 to preregister to vote? That means the day they turn 18, they’re ready to cast a ballot! Your younger cousin may have only just gotten their driver’s license – but they’ll be old enough to vote in the 2028 presidential election! This tool allows us to be proactive in getting young people to the polls!
You can help by sharing the tools above with your loved ones!
Education
The second way FGA makes voting more accessible is via education – which you’ve likely noticed by now if you’ve subscribed to us here on Substack!
Each week, we share breakdowns on American politics and civics to help you understand the bigger picture – all while sharing resources for you to take action.
But this work isn’t just confined to our Substack. We also put together educational content to make election information easily digestible – and sharable. For example, with midterms now in full swing, it can be confusing to keep track of primary and special elections occurring across the country (primaries run all the way from March to September!). FGA has made an easy guide for you to reference and share!
Help Feel Good Action
Our work would not be possible without you. Revolution is collective. We are so grateful for our subscribers here on Substack, our followers across social media, and those of you who have been generous enough to upgrade to a paid subscription! (Reminder – as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your contributions are tax deductible!)
It’s one thing for our team to make these tools, design the graphics, and write these articles – it takes your help to spread them far and wide. Here are three ways you can help us hit another 1 million voter actions and support Feel Good Action! We hope you take at least one!
Upgrade your subscription for as little as $6 per month or $50 per year! All proceeds go directly to continuing this work!
Give the gift of FGA by gifting a subscription to a loved one you’d like to join our community!
Share our Substack with your friends and loved ones – the more people that read us, the more voter actions taken!
Finally, THANK YOU all again! We’re so happy to have you here at the ground floor of our Substack.
See you Friday!
–FGA
